Spring Cleaning “TO DON’T” List

Fun fact about me: Spring is my favorite season! Not sure if it’s the…🤔

  • the longer days; or

  • the foliage, or

  • my birthday 🙃

It’s also a time of cleaning and purging. Not your closet(🤦🏾‍♀️); your life. This year I want to focus on applying all of those self-love principles we learned last year. And because how we engage with others is such a large part of our lives, I want to start there.

Who’s ready for some spring cleaning?(🙋🏾) Let’s get into it…

DON’T…

Don’t chase. Attract. The very act of “chasing” something or someone implies that thing or person is running or evading you. On the contrary, to “attract” something means it’s DRAWN to you. However, you can’t attract who/what’s for you if you aren’t being yourself…Need I say more?

Don’t pander. As women, we are taught to do so many things to pander to the male ego…don’t be too “aggressive”, don’t be too smart, play hard to get…Did doing any of that ever get us anywhere? I’ll wait(🙇🏾‍♀️). To pander is to be disingenuous. Not only is it not sustainable, but you actually can come up short like that. #Fuckthat

Don’t hate. Instead take comfort in the fact that you will have EXACTLY what you are supposed to have, when you are suppose to have it.

Don’t limit yourself. Period.

Your homework: Don’t do anything of these things and report back on how much better your life is! 🙌🏾😊
